James reminds us God cares about every part of our lives. He wants us to pray for each other, help one another, and share honestly. When we talk with others, pray together, and serve, God uses those things to bring help and healing to our lives and the people around us.
For Parents to Explain
Lord, thank You for listening to our prayers and caring for our family and friends. Help us encourage and pray for others, trusting that You hear us. Amen.

Acts of Care Challenge
- Each person writes down a way to help or encourage someone in the family or at church this week.
- Do your acts of care during the week.
- At the end of the week, share how it went and what it felt like to serve others.
Prayer Web
- Sit in a circle with a ball of yarn.
- One person holds the yarn, shares a prayer request, then tosses the yarn to someone else while holding their end.
- Continue until everyone has shared and the yarn makes a "web" connecting everyone.
- Pray for the whole group, remembering that we can pray for and care for each other.
